Funds-2-Germany provides the German information agent service for foreign UCIT investment funds. The information agent is required for marketing authorization by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority „BaFin“ (Bundesanstalt für Finandienstleistungsaufsicht).
German investors can obtain fund documents including sales prospectuses, KIIDs, annual and semi-annual reports and sales/redemption prices from the office of the German information agent.
The legal requirements for the designation of a company to act as an information agent are regulated in the German Investment Code „KAGB“ (Kapitalanlagegesetzbuch) and will be reviewed as part of the notification process for the respective investment funds by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority „BaFin“. The services of an information agent are offered in accordance with § 309 and § 310 of the Investment Code „KAGB“.
